Rotary International

I worked for The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International for almost fifteen years. I traveled throughout the world on Rotary business, often including the annual Rotary Convention. It was hard work; at some Conventions I rarely got an opportunity to explore the city. However, I often found ways to add some time on and had the pleasure of traveling with Rotary friends as well as occasionally my spouse.

Rotarians love taking and being in photos. I have included just a few of the hundreds that I have accumulated. They make me smile to see the Rotarians who have become my friends – and occasionally I mourn the loss of someone who is no longer with us.

Since I have remained a Rotarian, I am happy to say that this gallery will continue to feature new friends and new Rotary adventures.

When I retired in 2023, I suggested that my team and I go out for a quiet drink. Instead my boss, Eric Schmelling, opened his house for a Ri-wide dinner celebrating David Bender’s and my retirement.
